

You will be plunged into the universe of Adélaïde
d’Osmond Countess of Boigne and of her
husband Benoît Leborgne alias Count of Boigne
who made his fortune in India and then became
a great benefactor to Chambéry when he came
back.
He financed the sewer system of the town and
some buildings of the Hôtel Dieu in Chambéry,
he also created a theatre – now known as
Théâtre Charles Dullin.
After he died, the Fontaine des Eléphants was
raised as a sign of gratitude from the town in
1831.
This room overlooking the courtyard of the
Hôtel de Sautet has a peaceful and elegant
